He is my angel.

It is my biggest joy. They were so cute today. They surprised

Ugly Sweater Party

We   made a new tradition this year.
The ugly christmas sweater party.
It was a lot of fun.
Some of us had to hunt for the ugly sweater for weeks,
others just went to their closet. I won't name names.
Here are some ugly options I found online.

Krista and Mary

Dr. Julie, Michelle, Kenya and Clyde
My two personal favorites.....Mary and Brandy
 Amanda and Ryan..aren't they festive!
We are so blessed. I am so grateful as I gather around a big spread of food.
Dinner by candlelight with good food and company, I have to admit,
I had almost forgotten how fun it is to host a party
and enjoy it! It had been too long. Thank you friends
for all the ugly fun that was had last night. I hope to
carry on this "ugly" tradition!

Get Gifting

These are just a few of my favorite things
This Holiday Season...
 Truffles...creme brule. My favorite dessert.
I bought this bike a few years ago and love it. Mine is White. But don't you love
the new BLUE?
Santa called and left a message. He said I had been only
a little naughty and  a lot nice. He said this pretty camera may
come down the chimney for me!
 Sundance jewelry...need I say more.
Every girl must have a cute pair of these. I think a pair in my stocking
would do just fine.
 Two please in slate grey....
Crate and Barrel is so much fun. Think of all the goodies
you could mix up in this cute bowl.
Crate and Barrel again.  I love the rustic feel of this end table.
Just a fun few favorites. Now, get wrapping!

Home for the Holidays

Our Tree is Top Priority.
Everyone pitches in.
Someone Special must place the star.
The  Country Christmas  Music
CD must play
(It was the first Christmas CD Ben and I could afford)
The train is assembled.
Hot cocoa is ready.
Our home welcomes the Holiday Season.
The magic of Christmas is here.

Feel The Magic?

I would like to share this poem with you.
Easton brought it home from Kindergarten.

What shall we give the children?
The Holiday is almost here.
Toys, and games and play things.
As we do every year?
Yes, for the magic of toy land
is part of the Holiday lore.
to gladden the heart of childhood
But...I shall give much more
I shall give them more patience
A more sympathetic ear
A little more time for laughter.
Or tenderly dry a tear.
I shall take time to teach them
the joy of doing some task.
I'll try to find time to answer
More of the questions they ask.
Time to read books together
and take walks in the sun
time for a bedtime story
After the day is done
I shall give these to my children
Weaving a closer tie,
knitting our lives together
With gifts money can't buy.
