- That one of my favorite flower is in bloom. I love Peony's. A close second are Poppies..red ones.
- Packing for my trip to Russia...the excitement is building. Three days now!
- Taking the kids to the lake to feed five baby ducks. They were so cute. To bad they grow up to be mean ducks that like to nip you in the butt. Growing up on the ranch we had a male duck that was more like a guard dog. it would chase and bite strangers.
- That Sierra was up at 5:30a.m. this week to go to the pool to improve her back stroke. She is a very dedicated swimmer.
- That during Family Home Evening for the past two weeks not one person has had to leave and go to bed early!
- Ice...icecream. Iced cola. Iced Milk. Iced Slushy. you get the idea. We have been 92 degrees for the last two days.
- Cold sheets. Sierra turned back my bed for me the other night. The sheets had a chance to get nice and cool. I turn down her bed and leave a chocolate every once in a while. Something my mother did for me and now I am doing for my girls. It just says "I love you" without words!
- Sandals. Good bye shoes! Pedicure here I come!
- Homemade cards and gifts. Mother's Day was super special. I woke up to the newspaper and hot tea at the foot of my bed with homemade gifts and cards hidden in the room! Everyone let me read the news. They made a fabulous lunch. Bought me roses. Folded six loads of laundry and put it away. Went on a family walk with me. Let me read a book before going to bed. They also sang to me all day. I am super super lucky to be the Queen of this home.
- The smell of BBQ and cut grass. I love the two together. It just says Summer.
