Look Who Turned Eight!!!

Easton

It was more like birthday month.
He really knows how to wrap
us all around his little finger.
It must be his smile.
We were all doing his laundry,
taking his turn for dishes and
even cleaning his room.
I have to admit we all were exhausted by his actual
birthday. He mentioned his favorite thing about having a
birthday is..."the money".
I has 100.00 stashed away.
His nickname, "Money Bags".
I know where to turn when I need
a loan. He is quite a kid.

Happy Birthday
Mr. Blue-eyed Money Bags!

Hello Fall

Okay,
Okay.
I did need a summer break
from writing our story. But,
I'm back and excited to continue this
great journey.
God has blessed me in many ways.
Blogging helps me embrace everyday blessings.
In January I chose the word
"Embrace"
for 2013.
I have grown so much from empowering this word in my life.
I feel I have a closer relationship to God &
my children. I feel like I have made time for friendships.
I feel i have embraced my talents. What word did you choose?
How are you doing?

Fall has arrived in the midwest.
We are grabbing for sweaters and boots.
Our world is red, yellow and orange.
We are reinstating our
"Wilson Family Halloween Party"
this year.
Complete with homemade root beer
and best costume "hoe down".
Here are a few photos.

Sun Sand & Paradise

This year we talked some our closest Friends from Dental School into Glamping with us.
We rented RV's and taught them the ropes of camping on the beach. I think it was a great success.
I hope their hooked and they want to go again!

They have the cutest Darn Kiddos (next to my own of course).
They all played and danced so great together. It was a Par tay!!!

Sierra made this great Video. I think we all watch it at least once a day.
When we are on the beach the days zoom bye, but you also loss track of the day.
It's pure bliss. It was our eleventh year in Carpinteria and it just gets more fun as our kids grow up.
Notice in the photos Sierra is now taller than me. I may be the shortest one in our family
in just a few years. Well, maybe Anna and I will stay the same height.

So many fun memories with our friends. Thank you Erskines for a great time.
