Top Ten Thurs.

Top Ten Amazing
Moments this week...

Meeting up with friends. I am blessed to have wonderfully
funny and thoughtful friends!  I was able to
do a few fun things with them when I went
to the mountains.
My friend Krystal even let me do a family
photo shoot for her and her cute family.
Adorable. More to come in a later post.
Stopping to notice that Autumn has
officially arrived here in Kansas.

 Finishing a great novel.
Reading is an indulgence for me.  My
eyes start to blur and I eventually go
to bed around 1:00 A.M. But, I love it.
Thanks for
the recommendation Sherri.

Having a weekend with my Mr. in the mountains.
He is one funny, easy going guy. He is a keeper.

Knowing that sandwiches from Jimmy Johns
can be at my door step in minutes.
The #16 is the favorite around here. Jimmy helps
me get through Tues. nights sometimes.
Gymnastics
Boys Scout
Youth Group
Ben, Boy Scout leader
You get the idea.
Ok, I know it's silly but, I do love
have my nails done.  Do you love this new color
for fall. It's not red but not purple either.
It's just fun! It's the little things that get me
excited.

Spluging on my favorite Fall cookie
if you live near Overland Park, Kansas
you should stop into Best Regards
bakery for their seasonal Oatmeal
Toffee Cookie.  Take time you won't regret it.
Okay... maybe a little.

Waking up to my two oldest children composing
and playing beautiful violin music.  Sierra, Sydney and Dillon
all composed a song. While Dillon played them.
They are beautiful.
"Hot Plains" by Sierra
"Starry Night" by Dillon
"Everyone talks about it" by Sydney
One word..talent.

September is a special month for your family. It's the month
we are officially a "forever family".
There we are at our
Mormon Salt Lake Temple together.
Our faith believes we are together forever. Even after we leave this life.
Look at how much they have grown. Wowsers!

Last, coming home from our weekend away to
cute and special notes written in soap on our bathroom mirrors.
I haven't had the courage to remove them yet. I may never wash their
cute words of love away! Have a great Fall Weekend!

Bewitched

Colorado in September
it bewitches me
body and soul.
 Climb the mountains,
Let  the smell on the wind
renew your soul.
The sunshine will bring you strength
And before you know it, your cares will
drop off like Autumn leaves.
Get out there, feel the vitamin D!
Feel free to like my face book
I also sell prints and custom
photography at

Game Day

The Three F's
Fall
Fun
Football
We are really crazy about college football.
We were at a rained out game a few years ago in Montrose watching our hometown Indians
play.  It was pouring rain and we were  cheering through the storm when a mom of one of the players
turned around and asked Ben which  player was his son.  He smiled and said none of them. I just
really love this game!
So, with six college teams within 30 minutes of our home
we have a full schedule of games.
Our first game this season ,
Kansas University.
We love Lawerence Kansas.
 Our coach and Cheerleaders
Our coach for all things Football.
If you hit a game you must have lunch at Pickleman's.
The Asiago Chicken Pizza is so good.
 Our Cheerleader with amazing gymnastics
skills.
 Looking Cute for the game
 Boys in Blue and Red
Anna and her love of big pickles.
We had a great view of the KU Cheerleaders.
Sydney and Anna got hugs from some of them.
They swore to never shower.
 Easton loved the game.
I'm not sure this would be something the boys in our house
could admit to.  But, we love them anyway!
The game was a disappointment. KU lost in the last three
minutes of the game.  We came home to a University
of Utah win so that made us feel better!
We bleed RED!!!
Have a great game day.

Top Ten Thurs. on Friday!

My lastest find.

I spray painted it orange. What color would you paint it?
I found it at the back of a barn in Weston, MO. We fell in love immediately.

The parade of homes is one of my favorite things. House after house I never get sick of looking.
Who's coming with me? Grab a sweater and map I'll come get you in an hour.

It's time for Football! Jay Hawk Football. We are hitting a college game this weekend.
We are practicing our game sounds daily at dinner!

Telluride, Colorado
The mountains are in my blood. I booked tickets for the mountains for
the end of this month to visit friends. We fly into Durango and take Hwy 550
over Red Mountain Pass.
It is the most spectacular drive. My heart is beating faster just telling you about it. It could be that I'm so excited to see and spend time with my girlfriends too.  We are hiking in Ouray and I can hardly wait!!!
Outside of Montrose, Colorado
See you in the Mountains!

I am a ticket holder for this film festival in Kansas City.
How do you think it will compare to Sundance or Telluride?  I doubt I
will see super stars, but I'm sure I will watch some amazing film.

I have some news you should sit down for. I AM RUNNING a 5K!
I have been training for 4 weeks and feel great. Wow, I never thought that would
ever be written here. Ben and I will be racing in Louisburg, Kansas Sept. 29th.
Easton said in the kindest voice....Mom, I didn't know you could run!

This is one of my favorite editing sites online.
Super easy and super fun. Give it a try!

Grandparents Day is Sunday!
Nothing could be more perfect than celebrating
with grandparents. We are lucky enough to have Grandpa and Grandma
Wilson coming to visit us. We are so excited to see them both.
I wish I could hug my parents sunday, but a card and cookies will have to do
for now. I love both sets of grandparents. And while the Wilson pair are here
I'm going to make them smile for the camera with my kiddos!

Find an Apple farm.  Weston Red Barn Farm was
so much fun. We loaded up on apples and filled four buckets.
I think we'll have apple pie!  No family pictures of this event because
I forgot an SD card in my camera...so dumb! I learned my lesson!
Have a great weekend.
Don't forget, everyday should have a touch of madness
or your not liv'in!
OXOXO
